This policy explains what the investorsGo Fund Fit & Connector browser extension (the “Extension”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Extension helps founders see how well they fit a venture fund and manage their raise.

What we collect

• Account link. When you connect the Extension, we store a secure access token tied to your investorsGo account and your account identifier so we can score funds against your profile.
• Funds you analyze. When you choose to grade or analyze a fund, we send that fund’s website domain to our servers to look up or build its profile. We record which funds you research and the resulting grades, feedback, and pipeline entries you create.
• Your investorsGo profile data. We use your existing marketplace listing and profile (industry, stage, raise amount, location, company description) to compute your fit. This data comes from your investorsGo account, not from your browsing.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not track your general browsing. Fund detection runs locally in your browser; no information about a page is sent to us unless you explicitly choose to analyze a fund or open the panel.
• We do not collect passwords, form contents, or the content of non-fund websites.
• We do not sell your personal data.

How we use it

• To provide the Extension’s features: grading your fit, showing who to contact, and tracking your raise pipeline.
• To operate and improve the matching that powers the service.
• In aggregated, de-identified form, to understand demand and produce investor-facing insights. These insights do not identify you.

Limited Use

Our use of information received from the Extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described here and do not sell it or transfer it for unrelated purposes.

Storage & retention

Data is stored securely in our database and retained while your account is connected, so we can provide the service. You can delete it at any time (below).

Your choices

• Disconnect. Click the Extension icon and choose “Disconnect” to revoke the access token stored in your browser.
• Delete your data. Disconnecting, then emailing us at info@investorsgo.co, will remove the data the Extension collected about you (tokens, the funds you researched, grades, feedback, and pipeline entries). We honor deletion requests promptly.
