Please read these terms carefully before using investorsGo. By using our Platform you agree to be legally bound by them.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and investorsGo ("investorsGo," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the investorsGo platform, including investorsgo.co and any related websites, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy, which is also binding on you.

Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the Platform, clicking "I Agree," or otherwise using any part of the Platform, you affirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
  • You have read and agree to our Privacy Policy
  • You meet all eligibility requirements set out in Section 2
  • If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Platform and delete your account.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Platform after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide notice of material changes as described in Section 17.

Section 02

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. The Platform is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of 16.

Users under 18 ("Minors"):If you are between 16 and 17 years of age, you may only use the Platform with the verifiable consent and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a Minor to use the Platform, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on the Minor's behalf and accepts responsibility for the Minor's use.

Legal Capacity: You represent and warrant that (i) you are a natural person capable of forming a binding contract; (ii) your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law; and (iii) you are not barred from using the Platform under the laws of your jurisdiction.

Geographic Restrictions: The Platform is operated from the United States. We make no representations that the Platform is appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Section 03

Account Registration

To access most features of the Platform, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information as prompted
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and current
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password and not share your credentials with any third party
  • Notify us immediately at useinvestorsgo@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you

One Account Per Person: You may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or platform limitations is strictly prohibited.

Account Verification: We reserve the right to require verification of your identity, age, or professional credentials before granting full access to certain features. We may suspend or terminate unverified accounts at our discretion.

Username Policy: You may not register a username that impersonates another person or entity, is trademarked by a third party, or is obscene or offensive.

Section 04

Platform Description

investorsGo is a social platform and marketplace designed to connect early-stage founders (particularly rising founders aged 16–24) with investors, scouts, mentors, and advisors. The Platform provides tools including but not limited to:

  • A marketplace for founders to showcase their startups and for investors to discover opportunities
  • A matchmaking interface for founders and investors to discover and express mutual interest
  • Direct messaging between matched users
  • Competitions, pitch events, demo days, and networking events
  • Project update and milestone tracking tools
  • Social feeds, posts, comments, and community engagement
  • AI-powered assistance features (powered by the Anthropic Claude API)
  • Subscription-based premium features

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time, with or without notice, without liability to you.

Section 05

Investment Disclaimer

investorsGo is NOT a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, funding portal, crowdfunding platform, or securities exchange.

Nothing on the Platform constitutes investment advice, a solicitation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. investorsGo does not facilitate, execute, or clear any securities transactions of any kind.

The Platform is a networking and discovery tool only. Any investment discussions, deals, term sheets, or agreements that arise as a result of connections made on the Platform occur entirely outside of investorsGo, at the sole discretion and risk of the parties involved.

No Fiduciary Duty: investorsGo does not owe any fiduciary duty to any user in connection with any investment or business decision. We do not verify, validate, or endorse any information provided by any user, including information about financial projections, valuations, traction metrics, team qualifications, or business plans.

Due Diligence Is Your Responsibility: All investment decisions involve significant risk. You acknowledge that any investment in a startup may result in a total loss of capital. You are solely responsible for conducting your own independent due diligence before making any investment decision. You should consult with your own legal, financial, and tax advisers before investing.

No Verification of User Claims: investorsGo does not verify the accuracy of claims made by founders regarding their startups, metrics, intellectual property, or team. Investor profiles and credentials are similarly unverified. You rely on such information at your own risk.

Regulatory Compliance: Users who engage in investment activities must comply with all applicable securities laws, including SEC regulations, FINRA rules, and relevant state (Blue Sky) laws. Accredited investor status, if claimed, is the responsibility of the investor to maintain and verify. investorsGo does not confirm or certify accredited investor status.

Section 06

User Content

A. Ownership of Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit, post, or otherwise transmit through the Platform ("User Content"), including but not limited to profile information, listing descriptions, posts, messages, images, videos, and documents.

B. License Grant to investorsGo

By submitting User Content to the Platform, you grant investorsGo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Platform, including for AI-feature processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

This license does not give us the right to sell your User Content to third parties or use it for advertising without your separate consent.

C. Your Representations

By posting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to post the content and grant the license above
  • The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights
  • The content is accurate and does not contain materially false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • The content does not violate any applicable law or these Terms

D. Content Moderation

We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to review, remove, or disable access to any User Content at our sole discretion and without notice, for any reason, including if we determine the content violates these Terms. We are not liable for any failure to store or maintain User Content.

Section 07

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Prohibited Conduct

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content, including fabricated traction metrics, fictitious team members, or exaggerated financial projections
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation with any person or entity
  • Harass, bully, intimidate, stalk, threaten, or abuse any other user
  • Post, transmit, or share content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Solicit passwords or personal information from other users for unauthorized purposes
  • Engage in unsolicited commercial messaging (spam) or send bulk messages to other users
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without our express written permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Platform
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Platform in a manner that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access control features of the Platform
  • Use the Platform to facilitate or promote any illegal activity, including unlicensed securities offerings, money laundering, or fraud
  • Create multiple accounts or use the Platform in a manner intended to manipulate Platform metrics, scores, or visibility rankings
  • Share, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content or data from the Platform without our prior written consent

Reporting Violations

If you encounter User Content or behavior that violates these Terms, please report it to us at useinvestorsgo@gmail.com. We investigate all credible reports and take appropriate action.

Section 08

Subscriptions & Payments

A. Paid Plans

investorsGo offers a free tier ("Builder Free") and paid subscription plans including Builder Pro, Early Investor, and Investor Pro. Paid plans unlock additional features and access levels as described on our Membership page.

B. Billing

Paid plans are billed on a subscription basis (monthly or annually, as selected). By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us or our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable rate until you cancel.

All prices are stated in U.S. Dollars and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' advance notice.

C. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the paid period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle, except as required by law.

D. Plan Expiration

If your paid plan expires or payment fails, your account will automatically revert to the "Builder Free" tier. You will not lose access to your data, but premium features will no longer be accessible until you renew your subscription.

E. Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in a written refund policy we publish. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at useinvestorsgo@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge.

Section 09

Intellectual Property

A. Our Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, graphics, logos, trademarks, trade dress, and all content created by investorsGo ("investorsGo Content"), is owned by or licensed to investorsGo and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

investorsGo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any investorsGo Content without our prior written consent.

B. Trademarks

"investorsGo," the investorsGo logo, and related marks are trademarks of investorsGo You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

C. DMCA & Copyright Complaints

If you believe any User Content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to useinvestorsgo@gmail.com containing: (i) a description of the copyrighted work; (ii) a description of where the infringing material is located on the Platform; (iii) your contact information; (iv) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; (v) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf; and (vi) your physical or electronic signature.

D. Feedback

If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Platform ("Feedback"), you grant investorsGo a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that Feedback into the Platform without any obligation to you.

Section 10

Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Section 11

Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with or links to third-party services, websites, and applications. Your use of such third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for third-party services, and we make no representations or warranties regarding them.

Specifically, AI-powered features on the Platform use the Anthropic Claude API. By using AI features, you also agree to be bound by Anthropic's usage policies. You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit through AI features complies with Anthropic's policies and applicable law.

Links to external websites (including founder demo links, portfolio pages, and social profiles) do not constitute an endorsement by investorsGo of those websites or their content.

Section 12

Disclaimers of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INVESTORSGO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) any defects will be corrected; (c) the Platform or any content thereon is free of viruses or other harmful components; (d) the results of using the Platform will meet your requirements; or (e) any User Content is accurate, complete, or reliable.

We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any startup, product, service, investment opportunity, or transaction advertised or offered through the Platform by any third party.

Section 13

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INVESTORSGO, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY INVESTMENT LOSSES — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL INVESTORSGO'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO INVESTORSGO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You acknowledge that the limitations of liability in this Section are an essential element of the basis of the bargain between us, and the Platform would not be provided without such limitations.

Section 14

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless investorsGo, and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your User Content, including any claim that your User Content infringes any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Your use of the Platform, including any investment or business decision you make as a result of using the Platform
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Any fraud, misrepresentation, or negligence by you in connection with the Platform

Section 15

Termination

A. Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at useinvestorsgo@gmail.com. Deletion of your account will terminate your subscription (if applicable) at the end of the current billing period and initiate deletion of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

B. Termination by investorsGo

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you have:

  • Violated these Terms or our policies
  • Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal conduct on the Platform
  • Posed a risk to the safety, security, or integrity of the Platform or other users
  • Provided false or misleading registration information

C. Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including Sections 5, 6(B), 9, 12, 13, 14, and 16.

If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused portion of the current paid billing period. No refund is due if termination is for cause.

Section 16

Dispute Resolution

A. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

B. Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at useinvestorsgo@gmail.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to do the same. The parties shall allow 30 days for informal resolution before proceeding to formal dispute resolution.

C. Binding Arbitration

Except for disputes that qualify for small claims court, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform that is not resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in the United States and shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding and may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

D. Class Action Waiver

YOU AND INVESTORSGO AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the arbitration clause shall be null and void.

E. Exceptions

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, protect intellectual property rights, or enforce the security of the Platform.

Section 17

General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms you agree to, form the entire agreement between you and investorsGo and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements regarding their subject matter.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may freely assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Changes to Terms:We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' advance notice via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. If you object to the changes, your sole recourse is to stop using the Platform and delete your account. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Force Majeure: investorsGo shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, labor disputes, governmental actions, or internet or infrastructure failures.

No Agency: Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, employment, franchise, or agency relationship between you and investorsGo.
