The Problem

Mechanical engineering teams work across CAD, PLM, CAE, documentation and team chat tools to design parts, generate drawings, run simulations, respond to engineering change orders, and check designs for manufacturability. Today this requires manually coordinating geometry, BOMs, drawings, revisions, simulation results, and company documentation across disconnected tools like Fusion, Onshape, SOLIDWORKS, Arena, Windchill, Ansys, and others. When a part fails or an ECO triggers a change, engineers must manually gather failure data from PLM and simulation systems to create new prototypes, and keep BOMs and revisions in sync by hand, risking part-number, quantity, and revision mismatches.

The Solution

Adam is an AI mechanical engineer that plugs directly into the CAD, PLM, CAE, documentation, and team communication tools hardware teams already use, including Fusion, Inventor, Onshape, Creo, Solid Edge, SOLIDWORKS, Siemens NX, CATIA, Arena, Windchill, Teamcenter, Ansys, Abaqus, COMSOL, Simcenter, Google Drive, Notion, Slack, and Jira. It reads geometry, BOMs, drawings, and revisions in real time as one connected graph without exported copies, and can generate CAD from a prompt, convert 3D models to 2D drawings, run CAD-to-FEA simulation loops, turn ECOs into new part prototypes using failure data, and perform DFM checks against company documentation. It edits models the way a careful teammate would, respecting existing feature-tree history and references, regenerating the model and flagging any edit that would break a parent-child relationship, and users can message it from Slack, Teams, or email.
