People who use multiple AI chat platforms end up with hundreds of conversations scattered across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Grok with no folders or structure, making it hard to find a past chat or remember which AI a conversation happened in. Native chat histories offer no full-text search across platforms, no way to export conversations for use outside the browser, and no way to reuse a good prompt without retyping it. Important answers stay trapped in a chat log, and repetitive prompts get rewritten from scratch each time. This costs users time hunting through unorganized sidebars and re-doing prompt work they have already done before.

AI Toolbox is a Chrome extension that installs directly into the sidebar of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Grok, adding folders and subfolders, full-text search that can query all four platforms at once and group results by AI with deep links to the exact chat, and export to PDF, Markdown, JSON, or plain text. It includes a prompt library with a // shortcut to insert saved prompts and prompt chaining that links up to 10 prompts to run sequentially with placeholders filled in at run time. Additional module-specific features include smart tags, context mentions, message bookmarks, bulk export/delete/archive, an artifact vault for Claude, and image watermark removal for Gemini. The tool requires no separate account for the free tier, runs with on-device tagging and search indexing, and syncs only user-built data like folders, prompts, and tags in encrypted form.
