Aktoria Robotics
Aktoria Robotics provides low-latency teleoperation software, 24/7 trained human robot operators
The Problem
Companies deploying robots often need a human to step in when the robot cannot act autonomously, but building reliable low-latency teleoperation software and staffing and training remote operators around the clock is difficult to do in-house. Separately, labs and teams building robot foundation models need large volumes of real robot episode data, which is costly and slow to collect, curate, and quality-control on their own. Aktoria's site frames this as needing a 'human as API' layer that can plug into any robot, covering both the operations side and the data side of the problem.
The Solution
Aktoria offers three connected products: teleoperation software with reported latency of about 5 milliseconds locally and about 130 milliseconds between India and San Francisco, described as working with any robot; a Robot Operations Center staffed by trained, in-house operators working 24/7 from India and Mexico who can operate deployed robots remotely; and teleop data consisting of real robot episodes captured from their own station, quality-checked and offered on a non-exclusive basis, including egocentric and handheld-gripper data available on request. Prospective customers can request data samples or book a call to discuss teleop software, the Operations Center, teleop data, or investing.
