Applied Kinetics
Applied Kinetics builds AI agents that follow through on supplier, engineering
The Problem
Teams managing long-lead equipment orders, like transformers and switchgear, must track changes across disconnected systems: the ERP, email, drawings, and schedules. When an engineering revision lands, someone has to manually check what it does to the purchase order, notify the supplier, flag the affected drawing, and check whether the factory test and delivery schedule are impacted. This follow-through is scattered across tools like SAP, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint, and in the meantime work stalls on questions like which version is current, who owns the next step, and whether a supplier has confirmed.
The Solution
Applied Kinetics builds AI agents that operate inside a company's existing systems and surface their work in Microsoft Teams or Slack, so there is no new interface to learn. The agents connect to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), email (Outlook), spreadsheets (Excel), and document stores (SharePoint) to read specifications, purchase orders, supplier threads, drawings, and schedules. When a change occurs, such as a revised specification, the agent extracts what changed, drafts a purchase order change, notifies the supplier, flags affected drawings, and asks about schedule impacts, then posts a summary in the team's chat channel where a person approves anything that commits money or scope. Each deployment is described as being shaped around a specific company's workflows, approvals, and data rather than offered as a general-purpose assistant.
