The Problem

Teams building AI agents, integrations, or connectors need to test against external APIs like GitHub, Slack, Stripe, or HubSpot, but testing against live services requires real test accounts, hits rate limits, and leaves behind dirty state. This makes harness testing, CI integration testing, and agent training/RL runs unreliable, since shared test accounts and accumulated state mean each run doesn't start from a clean, known baseline. Developers need isolated environments that behave like production APIs without the cost and mess of using the real thing.

The Solution

Archal provides sandboxes containing one or more stateful environments that simulate real APIs (GitHub, Linear, Slack, Supabase, Apify, Cal.com, ClickUp, Customer.io, and others) via REST and MCP interfaces matching familiar paths, payloads, and response shapes. Each sandbox is created with a declared starting state, persists mutations across tool calls during use, and can be reset back to that same baseline, with the ability to inspect requests, responses, mutations, and timing along the way. One Archal API key manages every sandbox and environment through a shared gateway. Traffic is routed to Archal-managed implementations rather than real provider accounts, and setup can be automated via a scripted prompt for coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Devin that installs verified skills and checks environment access.
