Aries
A US brokerage offering stocks, ETFs, options and index options through a desktop platform, mobile app
The Problem
Traders who want to customize their workflow, trade on the go, or connect AI tools to their brokerage account are typically forced into separate, disconnected systems for each of these needs. Developers building on top of brokerages often lack clear documentation and must guess at API behavior. People who want their AI agent to access trading functions have no standardized, permissioned way to connect an agent to a real brokerage account. Switching between a desktop trading desk, a mobile app, and a developer API usually means fragmented data and accounts that do not stay in sync.
The Solution
Aries is an SEC-registered brokerage (through RAM Financial LLC, with accounts carried by Apex Clearing Corporation) offering stocks, ETFs, options and index options. It provides three interfaces built on one shared API and account: Aries Infinite, a customizable browser-based trading desk with charts, order entry, market depth, news, Bloomberg TV and TradingView; Aries Mobile, a phone app with the same live data and account, including a full-screen TradingView chart in landscape mode; and finance.dev, a developer API with llms.txt, Markdown docs and OpenAPI specs so coding agents can build against it. It also offers an MCP server so a supported AI agent can connect to a user's verified account, after sign-in and explicit permission approval, to access account information and supported trading functions. Supported products include eligible U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs (with fractional and extended-hours trading for eligible securities), multi-leg options orders of up to four legs, and cash-settled index options.
