The Problem

Developers, freelancers and small teams juggling multiple projects today spread their work across many terminal windows, tabs and tools, making it hard to see which AI coding agent is working, idle or waiting for approval. Switching between a product build, client work and a side idea means hunting through windows to find the right terminal or agent session. This scattered setup costs time and attention, since there is no single view of code, previews, notes and agent conversations together. The page frames this as a problem for independent developers, freelancers and small teams who are balancing more than one project at once.

The Solution

Armadai is a native macOS app built around an infinite canvas where each project gets its own workspace containing agents, a full IDE, browser, terminal, task boards and notes. Users can run Claude Code or Codex directly, or use a new 'master agent' that can open folders, launch agents, delegate work across workspaces, and optionally use computer use to operate app controls on the Mac. A sidebar shows agent activity across all workspaces (working, idle, or needing approval) so requests like running a test suite can be approved without leaving the current view. The canvas supports zooming between an overview of all projects and a focused single workspace, an alternative Tab View, a command palette (⌘K) for quick actions, customizable themes and workspace backgrounds, and an Environment Vault for storing secrets via macOS Keychain.
