Aurorin
Aurorin builds a fast, AI-native CAD application for mechanical engineers designing parts and assemblies.
The Problem
Engineers who design satellites, robots, cars and other hardware rely on CAD software that was built on decades-old foundations. Complex parts and assemblies slow these tools to a crawl, so engineers spend more time waiting for rebuilds than actually designing. On top of that, in a complex part almost any edit is a breaking change, cascading into manual repair of downstream features, constraints, and references. This leaves engineers fighting cluttered interfaces and software limits instead of focusing on design work.
The Solution
Aurorin is described as a completely new CAD system built to be fast, thoughtfully designed, and AI-native from the start. It is built to take advantage of modern CPUs and GPUs so that parts which take hours to load in other tools open instantly. AI is built into the foundation rather than added on, letting engineers combine direct editing with a chat interface to design complex parts quickly. The interface is designed to keep large, complex parts fast and approachable at scale rather than slowing engineers down. It is available as a free download for Mac and Windows, with a separate offering for teams.
