The Problem

Founders who have just built a product still need a launch or promo video, and the text quotes several of them describing this as harder than building the product itself: one spent a weekend on 10 AI prompts with no improvement, another waited almost two weeks for an agency cut that still was not right two days before launch. The alternatives described on the page are doing it yourself with tools like Claude and Remotion, which costs a weekend plus usage limits and produces a generic 'AI look' with gradients and centered text, or hiring a freelancer or agency for $1,500 to $15,000 over one to three weeks with slow email-based revision rounds. Posting the same video to different platforms also means re-editing it three times for different crops and text placement.

The Solution

Demo Editor takes a product's landing page URL, reads the real pages and copy, and can also use screenshots or a screen recording (including behind a login) to write a storyboard and cut a video with voice-over, music and sound effects. Founders can correct the storyboard before any frame is made and request changes in a sentence to get a new version within minutes. It produces four specific cut types, each with defined length and purpose: a teaser (under 30s), a hook (under 40s), a pitch (under 45s), and a demo (about 60s), and can output each in 16:9, 1:1/4:5 and 9:16 formats laid out for the destination feed rather than just cropped. The Director also reviews its own output for readable text, clear product visibility, no frozen moments and correct length before delivery, and supports voice-over in over 80 languages.
