Deploy Robotics
Deploy Robotics places teleoperated robots on manual fulfillment stations like returns, kitting and FBA prep
The Problem
3PL and fulfillment operators struggle to staff stations like returns processing, kitting, autobagging and FBA prep because the work is too varied for fixed automation and the volumes too low to justify building a dedicated automated cell. This leaves operators dependent on manual labor for high-mix tasks such as packing, receiving, prepping, chuting and put-to-wall sortation, in a labor market the company describes as facing an acute shortage for exactly this kind of work. Today these stations run on human labor alone, with no fixed-automation option that fits the variability or volume involved.
The Solution
Deploy installs a robot directly at an operator's existing station, without requiring a floor rebuild or new fixtures, and states this can be operational in days rather than months. The robot handles tasks like kitting, custom packing and returns processing, while remote human operators using teleoperation (described with VR headset and hand controllers) step in the moment the robot encounters an edge case, so work keeps moving. Deploy says it guarantees throughput from day one against SLAs agreed before install, and frames performance as improving over time, with month six said to outperform month one as the robot gets better at the customer's specific SKUs. The commercial model is presented as zero capex, with no hardware purchase or integration fee charged to the operator.
