The Problem

AI agents today lack a way to interact with mobile apps, which is where much real world work and software actually happens. Without a physical or virtual device and an identity, an agent cannot open, navigate, or act inside the apps people rely on. This leaves a gap between what AI agents can reason about and what they can actually do on phones.

The Solution

droidrun builds what it calls the Phone Layer for AI agents, giving them a body (a real device) and an identity so they can operate mobile apps directly. This is delivered through two products under the mobilerun name: mobilerun cloud, which provides real cloud phones and device fleets that agents control via API, streamed and scaled with real identity; and mobilerun framework, an open framework for giving any agent a phone, which the company states scores 91.4% on the AndroidWorld benchmark.
