The Problem

People who use multiple AI assistants and apps have to reintroduce themselves and their preferences, goals, and history every time, since their personal context is scattered across separate apps rather than living in one place. There is no single, permission-controlled place where a person's preferences, knowledge, purchases, taste, and connected apps live and travel with them. Without this, users repeat themselves to every new AI tool and have no visibility or control over what any given app actually knows or has accessed about them.

The Solution

Egoist AI Passport is a permission-based personal context and identity layer that stores a user's preferences, goals, knowledge, purchases, taste, and connected apps in one passport they control. Users connect the AI assistants and apps they already use, review new preferences or personal details before they are shared, and approve or deny each app's request for a specific slice of their data, with every access logged in auditable receipts that can be revoked at any time. Users can also claim a public handle (ego.ist/i/you) functioning like a shareable profile page for links, essays, videos, and interests, separate from the private passport plumbing underneath. The company states the AI that answers private questions runs on machines it controls, and that privately marked questions are answered and then forgotten.
