HandyQuote
HandyQuote helps solo handymen turn a plain English job description into a branded, sendable quote in under two minutes.
The Problem
Solo handymen spend a large chunk of their day estimating small jobs like TV mounts, drywall patches, and fence repairs, and many of those quotes never convert into paid work. Existing tools like Jobber and Joist are built for crews sending the same quote repeatedly, forcing a solo operator to pay for a truckload of features they will not use. In the meantime, many handymen just text a scribbled price to the customer, which looks unprofessional and loses jobs to a competitor who shows up with a clean, branded PDF minutes later.
The Solution
HandyQuote lets a handyman describe a job in plain English, typed or dictated, and drafts line items from the user's own rate card rather than guessing prices. The handyman reviews and adjusts the quote with a tap, then sends it by text or email as a branded quote the customer can accept in one click, with a notification the moment they do. If the customer goes quiet, HandyQuote follows up automatically, and it can collect a deposit by card the instant the quote is accepted, sending money straight to the handyman's bank. It also supports before and after photos on the same quote page for customer sign off, creating a timestamped record of the completed work.
