The Problem

Software teams rely on local coding agents that stop working the moment a laptop sleeps or hits resource limits, making it hard to run more than a few tasks at once. Engineers must manually juggle ports, review every keystroke, and hand off context between tools like Sentry, Linear, and Slack when triaging bugs or building features. Without a shared, persistent environment, agent work cannot easily be verified or passed between engineers and stakeholders. This leaves backlogs, bug fixes, and migrations bottlenecked on human bandwidth and local machine constraints.

The Solution

Hoplite imports a developer's local setup (sessions, MCP servers, CLIs) and mirrors it in the cloud, then runs coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex inside isolated sandboxes connected to a GitHub repo. Agents can run concurrently by the hundreds, each in its own sandbox, so a whole backlog can be fanned out at once and reviewed as results finish. The product integrates with GitHub, Linear, Slack, and MCP-compatible tools, letting threads be started from Sentry issues or Slack messages and shared via one-click links. Hoplite prepares video recordings of new features and live preview URLs so agents can verify their own work, and file edits, shell commands, and pull requests can be gated on explicit user approval.
