The Problem

Freelancers, agencies and students who deploy client or personal projects often face steep setup with Kubernetes, databases sold as separate products, unpredictable monthly bills, and data leaving the EU when using big cloud or US PaaS providers. Handing a project cleanly to a client is hard when infrastructure is scattered across multiple services and billing is not broken down per project. Learning curves for large cloud platforms slow down people who just want to ship a container. These users need a simple way to deploy and hand over apps without running their own cluster or unpicking a hyperscaler setup later.

The Solution

Hostim.dev lets users deploy a Docker image, a Git repository, or a Docker Compose file, and has it live in minutes on the company's own bare-metal machines in Germany. Postgres, MySQL, Redis and persistent volumes come included, with connection details wired directly into the app, and CPU/RAM can be resized without downtime from the dashboard. HTTPS certificates, logs and metrics are set up by default, and each project runs isolated from others. Pricing starts at €2.50 a month per app with free database tiers, and costs are broken down per project so freelancers and agencies can quote and bill clients clearly. Every account includes a 5-day trial project with no card required.
