Illume Labs connects wearables, nutrition, workouts and bloodwork into one text-based assistant that gives personalized
The Problem
People today track more health data than ever through wearables, nutrition apps, workout logs and bloodwork, but these tools never talk to each other. A wearable knows recovery, a nutrition app knows diet, a lab report knows biomarkers, yet nothing connects these signals or tells the user what to actually do next. This leaves people with scattered data points across multiple apps and dashboards but no unified understanding of their own health, and no clear next action.
The Solution
Illume brings wearable data, meal photos, workout logs and bloodwork into one place and interprets them together through a conversational interface delivered over text. Users sync wearables automatically, text photos of meals instead of logging them manually, record workouts, and upload lab results that become trackable biomarkers over time. The product, built around an assistant called Taro, answers health questions grounded in the user's own data, sends proactive daily insights about what changed and why, and supports goal check-ins, all through iMessage rather than a separate app to check. A fuller platform is available for users who want to go deeper than text.
