The Problem

Builders who deploy AI agents today have no standard way to let those agents communicate with people or other agents through normal channels like email, phone, or text. Agents are typically locked inside a single app or chat window, so a person who wants to reach an agent, or an agent that needs to follow up across channels, has no persistent identity to use. Without a shared identity, context gets lost when a conversation moves from email to a call to a text, and agents cannot hand off work to each other without a person routing each step manually.

The Solution

Inkbox provisions an identity for an AI agent in seconds, giving it a mailbox, phone and iMessage access, an internet address (tunnel), and Agent2Agent connectivity, all under one identity. The agent can reply, follow up, and start conversations itself, and it remembers the person across channels rather than just the current thread, so a conversation that moves from email to text keeps its context. Agents can also reach each other directly to hand off work and return results without a person routing every step. Identities can be created via CLI, SDK, Skill, or MCP, and the product integrates with agent harnesses including Grok Bot, Claude, ChatGPT, Hermes, Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode, with controls to decide who can reach each agent on every channel.
