Kofe Flow
A private, native Pomodoro timer in the Mac menu bar that keeps focus visible without adopting a full productivity
The Problem
Mac users who want to run focused work blocks often end up reopening separate apps or adopting bulky productivity systems just to track a simple timer. Existing tools may also send activity data off the device, raising privacy concerns for anyone tracking app or website usage during focus sessions. People want a lightweight way to see the current focus block without leaving their work, and without signing up for an account or a subscription. Kofe Flow's own marketing frames this as avoiding 'productivity-system clutter' and 'another system' just to keep time.
The Solution
Kofe Flow is a Mac menu bar app that keeps a countdown always visible and offers one-click controls to start, pause, extend, skip, or reset a focus session. It includes a Smart Nudge feature that locally suggests when to start or pause, and private focus insights showing focus hours, streaks, top apps, and websites, all processed on-device. A Focus Persona feature generates a shareable daily summary card of focused hours, top apps, and work style. The app is free for core sessions, breaks, and local history, with a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase unlocking deeper analytics, shortcuts, sounds, icons, and additional Mac controls; there is no subscription, no account requirement, and limited anonymous event-only analytics with no app names, domains, or screenshots sent off the Mac.
