The Problem

Wholesale distributors run on manual processes across purchasing, inventory, and sales: buyers must manually check stock levels, decide what to reorder and in what quantity, draft purchase orders and vendor emails, track demand shifts, and monitor sales inboxes to update CRM deal stages. This work is spread across disconnected systems like ERPs, email, shared drives, and CRMs, making it hard to see which items are about to stock out, which purchase orders have conflicting records, or which sales deals have gone quiet. The cost shows up as backordered items, stranded revenue from stockouts, overstock sitting on shelves for months, and deals that stall without anyone noticing.

The Solution

Lark connects to a distributor's existing ERP, email, documents, shared drives, accounting, and CRM systems (examples given include Prophet 21, Eclipse, Business One, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Outlook, SharePoint) and deploys agents that work within these systems. The purchasing agent ranks what to reorder by urgency, drafts vendor-specific purchase orders and emails, and can enter approved POs directly into the ERP within buyer-set limits. The demand forecasting agent compares 14, 30, and 90-day sales trends to recommend order quantities that feed into purchasing. The inventory monitoring agent flags stockout risk, mismatched records, demand shifts, and overstock with explanations. The sales operations agent reads sales inboxes, matches emails to deals, updates CRM stages, and flags stalled opportunities. A data analysis agent lets users ask plain-English questions and get answers grounded in the company's own data, showing the numbers behind each answer. The onboarding process is a four-step pilot: a scoping meeting, connecting systems, a pilot period where items, vendors, and rules are mapped with the customer's team, and then expanding to additional agents and workflows, each operat
