The Problem

Founders and SMB owners today rely on separate accounting software (like Procountor, Fennoa, or Netvisor) and a separate accounting firm, with their own team acting as the connector between the two. Someone inside the company has to chase missing receipts, reconcile bank statements, compile VAT returns, run payroll, forward invoices between systems, and push month-end closes forward. Data lives scattered across banks, CRM, HR tools, Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, email, and tax authorities, none of which talk to each other. This leaves the business depending on internal effort to keep books current instead of having a single accountable source of truth.

The Solution

Last Accounting Company (LAC) provides a combined accounting platform and professional accounting service so companies never have to manage the connector role themselves. An AI agent called Björn handles the manual work, including reconciliation, VAT filing, payroll reporting, and closing the books, while LAC's own accountants review and sign off on the results. The platform connects directly to banks (Nordea, OP, Stripe shown as examples), payroll, tax authorities, and internal tools, pulling everything into one general ledger as the single source of truth. It also exposes an MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT, or other agents can connect directly, sending context and documents in and receiving live financial status and figures out. The service covers bookkeeping, invoices and payables, payroll, VAT and tax filings, monthly closes, financial statements, consolidations, and advisory, positioned as a full replacement for a traditional accounting firm plus software stack.
