The Problem
Founders, SDRs, and growth marketers who prospect on LinkedIn today rely on manually scrolling the feed, opening ten tabs per lead to research a profile, and doing their own keyword research in spreadsheets. This costs entire mornings: reading bios, work history, and recent posts one by one, and jumping between LinkedIn and tools like ChatGPT to write a reply. Testimonials describe this as time-consuming searching in an overwhelming information ocean, and note the effort of manually tracking competitor mentions across LinkedIn, which is described as killing a team's mornings.
The Solution
Lead Surf is a Chrome extension that scans LinkedIn every two hours for buying signals such as recommendation requests, competitor complaints, or hiring sprees, and organizes them into categories like hot leads, competitors, hiring, clients, and chatter. Users set up an ideal-customer profile by dropping in their website, which Lead Surf reads to draft who they sell to and which topics to watch, and they can set keyword slots and a location filter so only in-territory leads reach the queue. For each lead, it reads the full profile (bio, work history, recent posts) and gives a plain-language fit read plus a recommended action. It also drafts a reply based on what the prospect actually posted, offering a choice of tones (professional, friendly, helpful, casual), which the user edits and sends manually from their own LinkedIn account; the FAQ confirms it does not post, comment, or message automatically.
