Leafy
A Chrome extension that lets teams annotate, comment, and collaborate on live webpages in real time.
The Problem
Product teams, educators, researchers, and others who need to give feedback on live websites currently rely on screenshots, vague descriptions, or disconnected tools to point out issues. This makes it hard to pinpoint exactly which element a comment refers to, track whether something was fixed, or hand off clear instructions to an AI coding agent. Feedback often gets lost across documents, chat threads, or screenshots rather than staying anchored to the actual page and element in question.
The Solution
Leafy is a free Chrome extension that lets users pin feedback directly to any element on a live webpage, whether staging or production, and leave threaded comments that can be flagged as a suggestion, question, or fix. Comments support @mentions, real-time notifications, and resolution tracking, all without leaving the page. A dashboard aggregates every annotation across sites into grid or table views, with filtering by site, author, or status, auto-captured screenshots (on the Pro plan), and threaded replies. Annotations are organized into separate 'Gardens' for different teams or projects, and resilient anchoring keeps pins attached even when a page re-renders. For AI-assisted development, Leafy can copy annotations as structured, agent-ready prompts that include CSS selectors, XPath, and React component chains so tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT can locate exact elements.
