Long-form creators writing novels, comics, fan fiction, or running TRPG campaigns end up with character and setting details scattered across multiple spreadsheet versions, cloud drives, chat logs, and their own memory. Writers lose track of details like a character's hairstyle from a previous chapter, or find that a new worldbuilding rule contradicts something established many chapters earlier, with no one checking for these conflicts. As a story grows across many chapters or sessions, the most complete version of the world often exists only in the creator's head, and it starts to leak when they return to a project after a break or switch between working on a novel and a comic version of the same world.

LitMemo lets creators paste existing prose, scripts, or setting notes (including full .docx/.txt/.md files) and uses AI to automatically extract character cards and setting entries, so writers do not need to retype anything. An @mention system lets writers pull up any character or setting card with a hover preview directly inside the editor or comic storyboard, without switching windows. As new chapters are written, AI scans the whole project to auto-update existing character cards and flag contradictions between entries. The product also includes dedicated tools for foreshadowing/plot-thread tracking across chapters, structured character cards with status tracking (alive/dead/missing), a setting-entry system for locations, organizations, and rules, plus comic-specific features like free-form panel layout and panel-by-panel AI image generation that uses character reference art to keep faces consistent across panels and issues.
