Lunafic offers a writing engine built for fiction and tuned for roleplay, letting users either play a character while the AI plays everyone else (MC Mode) or direct the whole story from outside (Author Mode). It supports long-turn layered memory, tested at 1,600 turns on the Plus tier and up to 3,200 turns on Ultra and Ultra+, so details and secrets established early in a story remain consistent many chapters later. Worlds can include pre-made scene pictures that appear at authored story moments rather than being generated live, a Status system that tracks changing stats like health or hostility tied to story events, and an In-Scene Control feature that restricts dialogue to characters explicitly placed in the current scene.
