MailValid
MailValid is an email verification tool that cleans email lists via CSV upload, API
The Problem
Teams that send email, including SaaS companies, agencies, recruiters, and outbound sales teams, often send to lists containing invalid, disposable, role-based, or risky addresses. This happens especially with purchased or scraped contact lists, stale CRM data, or signup forms that don't filter fake accounts. Sending to these addresses increases bounce rates and damages sender reputation. Existing verification services like ZeroBounce and NeverBounce are cited as more expensive (MailValid claims $390 and $800 respectively versus its own $129 per 100,000 emails) and NeverBounce reportedly offers only 10 free credits to test with.
The Solution
MailValid verifies email addresses through a three-step process: syntax validation against RFC 5322, domain and MX record checks, and an SMTP-level mailbox check that confirms the mailbox exists without sending an actual email. Users can verify a single email free with no account, upload a CSV or TXT file (up to 10,000 addresses per job) through the web dashboard with no code required, or integrate via a REST API that returns JSON responses. The service also runs a hosted MCP server compatible with Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients, letting AI agents verify emails directly using the same pricing and credit system. Every verification flags disposable addresses, role-based addresses, free providers, and catch-all domains, and credits never expire whether on a free, paid, or pay-as-you-go plan.
