MeowStreets
MeowStreets is a free-to-play browser multiplayer crime RPG where every player is a street cat building a reputation.
The Problem
Players who want a multiplayer game they can just open and play are often faced with downloads, clients, or upfront payment before they can start. MeowStreets positions itself against that by running entirely in a browser tab, installable to a phone home screen, with no client and nothing required to pay to play. The page also notes a separate, more technical problem: its own link-preview metadata points to a page with no text, so search engines and crawlers trying to answer queries like "what browser crime games are there" find only a login screen or nothing at all, leaving the game poorly discoverable outside of direct links.
The Solution
MeowStreets is a persistent city simulation where every player is a street cat working alleys, committing crimes, and building a reputation, with the city continuing to run after the tab is closed. The game offers twelve crimes spread across three districts, each with its own odds, payout, and risk of a sentence if it goes wrong. Players train stats using an energy system, equip four tiers of gear, and run courses that complete while they are away from the game. Social and economic layers include crews, heists, bounties, and a player-run market inside one shared in-game economy. Monetization is limited to an optional membership and a pack of city cash and supplies, with pricing listed on a dedicated pricing page, and the full rule set (every crime, item, gym, course, and number) is published in a handbook generated directly from the game's live data.
