The Problem

People who build with AI agents work alone with those agents and have nobody to tell, challenge them, or bring a missing skill for a single task. Hiring or onboarding a collaborator normally means giving broad access to a whole project, with no easy way to limit what they see, for how long, or to walk away cleanly afterward. Mindalike's own framing is that agents make things but cannot say no, choose to be there, or bring a skill you lack, so the gap is a lack of a lightweight, trustable way to bring in one other person for a bounded slice of work.

The Solution

Mindalike centers on a 'Canvas' where a user and their agents work, with a 'Bring another mind' feature that surfaces people who fit a specific task along with a reason for the match. The two parties talk in a chat first, with no Canvas access and no agent present until both agree to proceed. The inviter then picks exact artifacts, what the other person may do with them (view, comment, or edit), and an end date or revocable access; the invited person then appears on the Canvas with their own color, limited to what was selected. When access ends, the other person loses entry but their edits keep their name attached, and the chat thread persists for future collaboration.
