NoteTube
NoteTube turns uploaded lectures, PDFs, or recordings into a structured notebook, spaced-repetition flashcards
The Problem
College students and professionals who attend lectures or read PDFs spend hours retyping notes and hand-building flashcards before they can even begin studying. This busywork often replaces actual learning, and re-reading notes can create false confidence since it does not reveal gaps in understanding until exam day. The page frames this as the real obstacle: not studying itself, but the manual labor of manufacturing study materials from raw lecture content.
The Solution
NoteTube takes a single source, such as a YouTube lecture link, PDF, or audio recording, and automatically generates a full study system from it: a structured Notebook with key terms and sections, a flashcard deck scheduled using the SM-2 spaced-repetition algorithm (with Again/Hard/Good/Easy ratings and Anki export), and a graded quiz that highlights weak spots. All three study modes are built from the same uploaded source rather than generic or public content, and the site reports that about half of sessions use two or more of these modes on one piece of material. Free tools let users try a YouTube summary, PDF summarizer, flashcard generator, or quiz generator before creating an account to unlock the full spaced-repetition system.
