Odin Robotics
Odin Robotics provides robot arm automation for repetitive manual tasks in small and mid-sized factories.
The Problem
Small and mid-sized manufacturers rely on manual labor for repetitive tasks like CNC machine tending, conveyor packing, kitting, and palletizing. These factories often lack the resources or technical expertise to design and integrate robotic automation into their existing workflows and machines. Traditional automation setups can be complex, expensive, and built around new facilities rather than the equipment a factory already has. This leaves repetitive, manual work unautomated in many smaller operations.
The Solution
Odin Robotics supplies a complete robotic automation setup, including the robot arm, gripper, supporting equipment, and integration, built around the factory's existing machines and workflow. The system combines programmed controls that repeat consistent routine movements with learned skills that let the robot handle variations in the task. Demonstrated applications include CNC machine tending (loading and unloading parts such as door handles on a CNC mill), conveyor packing (picking food containers from a moving conveyor and placing them into totes), packaging and kitting, and palletizing. Customers start with a pilot project on a single task, with scope, price, timeline, and safety guardrails agreed upfront, including provisions for remote operator intervention. Payment is only required if the customer is satisfied with the pilot, after which they can choose monthly rental or outright purchase.
