Omanta
Omanta assembles PhD-level research teams to build personalized molecular profiles and therapeutic roadmaps for complex
The Problem
Patients with complex or rare diseases often receive care based on population averages rather than the depth their specific biology demands. Their clinical teams may lack the time or specialized scientific expertise to fully mine genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data, compare it against broader research, or systematically map out future treatment contingencies. As a result, diagnostic gaps may go unaddressed and evidence that could inform treatment decisions may never reach the clinical team in a structured, interpretable way.
The Solution
Omanta assigns each case a PhD-level scientific research team trained at outside institutions, who collect and organize all existing records, imaging, pathology, and molecular data, then work with the clinical team to close diagnostic gaps through additional testing. The team builds a detailed molecular profile using genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic analysis (such as whole exome/genome sequencing, RNA sequencing, copy number variation, immunohistochemistry, and spatial proteomics), then cross-references findings against an internal reference cohort and biomedical literature. This feeds a therapeutic evidence model that assesses potential efficacy and safety signals for different strategies, and a living therapeutic roadmap that sequences near-term, medium-term, and long-term treatment options as the disease state, evidence, and patient goals evolve. A research advocate stays involved throughout to translate findings for the clinical team.
