OpenFate
OpenFate offers free calculation-first AI astrology, Bazi, and compatibility charts across multiple divination systems f
The Problem
People seeking astrology, Bazi, or divination guidance often encounter tools that mix chart calculations with vague or inconsistent AI interpretation, or that use jargon-heavy fortune-telling language that's hard to understand. User reviews on the page describe frustration with other AI systems that 'get the charts wrong and spout nonsense' or feel overly serious and inaccessible. Others compare the experience unfavorably to paid fortune-telling masters or stalls, suggesting a gap between free online tools and trusted, accurate readings. Users want clear, accurate, and actionable interpretations of their charts without losing sight of the underlying calculated facts.
The Solution
OpenFate provides free chart generation across seven systems (Bazi, Ziwei Dou Shu, Western Astrology, Vedic Astrology, Human Design, Sukuyo, and Combined Reading) plus six oracle methods (Tarot, Meihua I Ching, Liu Yao, Lenormand, Qimen Dunjia, Guanyin lots). Its architecture explicitly separates deterministic rules-engine calculations (declared inputs, chart facts, structure) from AI-generated explanations, so the AI interprets visible results without altering the underlying calculated data. The platform also offers six compatibility systems, Daily and Event Timing tools, a BZTI archetype test, Huangli calendar lookups, saved follow-up guidance, and PDF report downloads. It has also released an open-source Bazi MCP Server (npm package) for integration with AI agents like Claude, Cursor, Codex, and Cline.
