OpenLLM
A local routing layer that lets developers run Claude Code, Codex and other AI tools through any model, API
The Problem
Developers using AI coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode often get rate-limited mid-task, stopping their agent's work. Their provider keys are scattered across different tools, and models they run locally are stuck on a single machine, unable to work together with cloud APIs. Re-explaining project context to each new agent or tool also wastes time, since nothing is shared between them.
The Solution
OpenLLM is a routing layer that connects every major inference provider, local model servers like Ollama and LM Studio, and subscriptions into one system, so tools like Claude Code and Codex can reach 226 models across 13 providers without reconfiguring anything. Installation is a one-line terminal command or a Mac app, and tools run through OpenLLM without modifying their existing configs. Every account includes some inference by default, so a first request works before any provider key is connected. The product also includes shared memory across agents via Context.dev, a marketplace for integrations that apply across all connected tools, and client-side AES-256-GCM encryption of provider keys using a user-held recovery phrase, so the company says it cannot decrypt a user's vault.
