Existing sites on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or Webflow are hard to modernize or migrate without starting over. Pagesmith generates a website either from a written brief or by importing an existing public site's content and design direction, producing an editable draft that users review before publishing. Sites can be edited through plain-English prompts, visual controls, or code workflows, and the platform handles publishing, SSL, and hosting via managed Cloudflare delivery. It uses a static-first Astro output so the main page content is sent as HTML, and includes crawlable pages, metadata, sitemaps, and structured data for search and social sharing (auto-generated link previews). Every site ships with built-in contact forms, lead capture, a simple blog and page editor, and analytics, all managed from one dashboard. On eligible paid plans, users can export the underlying Astro project to self-host or hand to a developer, avoiding platform lock-in.
