Pancake
Pancake is an AI GTM agent that finds buying signals, builds outreach Plays
The Problem
Founders, agencies, and consultants at B2B companies need a steady flow of qualified leads but lack time to research prospects, track buying signals like funding rounds or new job openings, and write personalized outreach at scale. Today this work is manual: scanning funding news, checking who's hiring, drafting individual messages, and following up repeatedly. The page frames this as 'building got 10x easier, selling didn't,' implying teams are stuck doing GTM work by hand while their product development has sped up. Without automation, this research and outreach consumes founder or sales time that could go toward running the business.
The Solution
Pancake builds a 'GTM brain' from a company's website that learns who buys from them, what to say, and where to find them, then lets users describe a GTM idea in plain language (e.g. 'find founders who just raised a seed round and are hiring a marketing lead') which it turns into a 'Play' that runs continuously. It pulls signals from over 30 data providers including Dealroom, TheirStack, Wappalyzer, Apify, Firecrawl, and Coresignal to surface leads with stated reasons for fit, and users approve or reject each lead before any outreach is sent. Pancake drafts personalized first messages referencing each lead's specific signal (a funding round, job post, or rebrand), sends follow-ups until a reply comes, and routes positive responses to the user's calendar. The system also works through Claude or Codex via an MCP server, letting users build Plays and approve leads directly from a chat interface, and it tracks contacts, replies, and wins to refine future targeting.
