The Problem

Teams running websites, APIs, and backend services need to know the moment something breaks, before customers notice or complain. Without a unified monitoring setup, teams may rely on scattered tools or manual checks to catch outages, degraded response times, failed cron jobs, or expiring SSL certificates and domains. When an incident does happen, tracking its timeline, notifying the right on-call person, and keeping users informed via a status page often requires stitching together multiple separate systems. This fragmentation can delay detection and response, and makes it harder to produce SLA reports or post-mortems after the fact.

The Solution

PixoMonitor is a monitoring platform covering 10 check types, including HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, DNS, Ping, SSL, WebSocket, domain expiry, synthetic/transaction monitoring, and heartbeat/cron monitoring, with checks run as often as every 30 seconds from four global regions (New York, San Francisco, Singapore, Amsterdam). It sends instant alerts through Email, Slack, Discord, Teams, Telegram, SMS, voice calls, or webhooks, and supports multi-tier escalation policies so unacknowledged alerts automatically reach the next on-call person. The platform includes automatic incident creation with timeline visualization and post-mortem documentation, customizable status pages with custom domains and optional password protection, SLA tracking with exportable compliance reports, and AI-based anomaly detection on response time patterns. A lightweight agent extends monitoring to servers, reporting CPU, memory, disk, and network metrics, database health for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis, log aggregation, and auto-discovery of running services and ports.
