Prefire lets users start or join public communities around a topic, or create private groups with friends, and post predictions before an outcome is known. Other users can react or take the opposing side, backing their position with virtual coins rather than real money. Every prediction is timestamped, and once the outcome resolves, the record updates and generates a shareable proof card showing who was right. Coins earned by being correct are spent on cosmetics, badges, and collectibles rather than cashed out, positioning the app as status-driven rather than gambling.
