ProvenMetal
ProvenMetal helps hardware teams quote, source parts for, fabricate and assemble PCBs faster by routing orders through
The Problem
Hardware teams building printed circuit boards face long lead times, and according to ProvenMetal more than half of that time is not spent manufacturing but on quoting, design-for-manufacturing (DFM) review, and sourcing parts. Teams typically have to manually get quotes, check designs for manufacturability, source a bill of materials, and coordinate handoffs between separate fabrication and assembly houses. This fragmented process slows down prototyping and build schedules and makes delivery dates unreliable.
The Solution
ProvenMetal treats manufacturing as a network rather than a single factory, routing each order through fabrication and assembly houses chosen for speed, capability, and capacity. It automates quoting and DFM review using heuristic-based harnesses built on proprietary manufacturing and supply chain data, procures and kits parts in parallel with fabrication, and automates handoffs between fab and assembly partners. Customers get a confirmed build schedule at the time of quoting, live production updates, and courier tracking to delivery. The company supports rigid, flex, rigid-flex, HDI, RF, and mixed-material boards up to 32 layers, with US assembly, inspection, and optional AOI, X-ray, and functional test, plus a separate ITAR-controlled path that keeps designs and sourcing entirely within US partners.
