The Problem
Creators, agencies, and developers who manage social media today must log into each platform separately, or stitch together multiple tools, to post content to networks like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and others. Publora's own copy states this manual, platform-by-platform workflow costs 10+ hours weekly and makes it hard to post consistently, which hurts audience trust and algorithm performance. Agencies managing several clients face an added burden of keeping content, accounts, and billing separate across those clients. Developers and AI agents that want to automate posting have historically needed separate SDKs or integrations for each platform.
The Solution
Publora offers a single REST API and an MCP server so one HTTPS call or one plain-English instruction to an AI assistant (Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients) can publish to 10 platforms at once, exposing 18 tools for scheduling, checking analytics, and managing accounts. For individuals it provides a calendar scheduler, a content editor supporting text, image, video, carousel, story and reel formats, an AI Editor and AI Idea Generator that learns from past posts, and smart validations that catch platform-specific issues before publishing. For agencies it adds dedicated client workspaces, permission controls, and centralized billing. Setup is described as a two-minute config addition for MCP, and pricing is pay-per-connected-account with volume discounts, starting with a free tier for 3 accounts and 15 posts per month.
Why Now?
The site frames itself as built for the 'Agent Era,' arguing that AI agents (Claude, Cursor, n8n, Zapier, etc.) now need to manage social media directly via plain-English commands rather than dashboards, which is why it built an MCP server with 18 tools alongside its API.
