The Problem

Developers, especially experienced ones like senior backend engineers, get unsolicited outreach from recruiters and staffing companies, much of it low quality or irrelevant. Today that outreach is free to send, so developers' inboxes fill with cold DMs they have no incentive to sort through or answer. There is no cost to a recruiter for a bad pitch, and no compensation to the developer for the attention and time spent reading and replying. This makes it hard for developers to tell serious offers from noise, and gives them no upside for engaging with recruiters at all.

The Solution

Reachdev.io lets developers create a public profile listing their stack, availability, bio, and a credit price required for anyone to contact them. Companies buy credits and stake them to send a first message to a developer; if the developer replies within a window, the credits transfer to the developer's wallet, and if they ignore it, the credits go back to the company. Developers can withdraw their accumulated credits to a bank account at any time, with payouts described as arriving within 2 business days and no minimum balance. Companies get filtering by stack, seniority, availability, and work mode, and pay for access via a subscription that includes credits, with company accounts noted as not yet open.
