The Problem

Operators of live EV and AV depots, ports, and logistics yards still perform charging and core depot operations manually, multiple times per day, across mixed fleets, in tight urban footprints. This manual process leads to missed charges, unpredictable downtime, and rising labor and infrastructure costs. These issues directly limit vehicle uptime, scalability, and reliability at fleet scale, according to the company.

The Solution

RoboDock provides a robotics layer for autonomous depot operations, starting with charging and vehicle inspections. The system guides a vehicle into a stall, uses vision-guided alignment to insert a plug and verify connection before power flows, then runs sensing systems to inspect vehicle readiness before redeployment. It operates as a closed-loop system where every charge event is meant to improve accuracy and efficiency over time. The two named capabilities are autonomous plug-in and unplug, which replaces manual labor, and vehicle inspection, which uses intelligent sensing to evaluate readiness for safe redeployment.
