Roma
Roma is a to-do app for Mac and iOS that captures rambled thoughts, turns them into tasks
The Problem
People have tasks and ideas that occur to them throughout the day but lack a quick way to capture them before the thought is lost. Traditional to-do lists only store a list of items and require the person to do all the work themselves later, with no help turning a vague thought into a clear, actionable task. Work also gets scattered across chat tools, email threads, files, and various AI agents, making it hard to keep track of what is actually open or finished. People who use multiple AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) have no single place to see everything those agents have been asked to do.
The Solution
Roma lets a user speak or type an unstructured thought, and it turns that into a task with a clear title while keeping the underlying details. An 'Operator' then starts working on the task in the background, and the user can review the completed work whenever they choose, rather than the task disappearing into a chat conversation. Roma connects to apps like Dropbox, Gmail, Google Calendar, Linear, Notion, and Google Drive so the Operator can pull in existing context such as files, threads, and prior decisions. It also integrates with AI tools and agents including Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Instinct, and Muse, so tasks created in any of these can be added to and tracked from one command center. The product is available as a Mac app and an iOS app, and includes support for recurring tasks and a beta feature where the Operator can act inside websites and apps on its own computer.
