Scope
Scope tracks AI agents shopping on behalf of buyers across a company's docs, API and MCP server
The Problem
Companies whose products are discovered and used by AI agents such as Cursor, Codex and Claude Code have no visibility into those interactions. Standard analytics rely on page scripts and session tracking, but agents fetch pages, docs and APIs directly and never run those scripts, so their visits go completely unrecorded. When an agent hits a broken install step, a wrong code sample, or a sign-in flow that waits on a human, it simply abandons the task and never returns, leaving no ticket and no record of why. The result is a growing blind spot: potential customers (agents acting for buyers) arrive, try to evaluate or use the product, and silently fail, while the company never learns what blocked them or how much revenue was lost.
The Solution
Scope is described as an agent experience platform that observes every agent session on a company's docs, API and MCP server and joins the steps into a single journey per agent: discover, evaluate, install, sign in, pay. It names agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Muse, Instinct and others) with a confidence label of verified, declared or inferred, and captures each agent's stated task in its own words, grouping these into intents like subscriptions, checkout or refunds. The console ranks drop-offs by sessions and revenue lost at each step, for example a wrong auth header in an API keys guide or a declined test payment, and ties agents and intents directly to conversion and revenue figures. For each identified problem, Scope proposes a concrete fix, such as a corrected code sample or docs change, ready to review and ship, then tests the fix against real agent runs to show the resulting lift in conversion before it reaches human customers.
Why Now?
The page frames the shift directly: "Your next customer is an AI agent," arguing that agents already shop on a company's behalf today while existing analytics and logs cannot see or record their sessions.
