The Problem
Businesses that need to send both transactional email (receipts, password resets, order confirmations) and marketing email (newsletters, announcements) today face tools that either bury sending under complex campaign builders, automation canvases and journey editors, or force them to buy bundled products when they only need one type of sending. Setting up email so it actually lands in the inbox and not spam requires navigating domain authentication, unsubscribe compliance, and sender rules that most people find confusing. Writing the email, managing the contact list, and configuring sending settings are separate manual steps that slow down a simple task like emailing a customer list.
The Solution
SendKernel puts an assistant beside every page of the product that can act directly in the user's account, for example emailing a segment of contacts, importing a spreadsheet of customers, or diagnosing delivery problems, in plain English requests. Before anything sends, the assistant prepares a draft showing the exact recipient list, subject line, and who was excluded (such as unsubscribes), and nothing goes out until the user clicks send; the assistant cannot touch billing, cards, or team settings. The product organizes work into three areas: People (contact lists with automatic unsubscribe handling), Emails (sent and pending mail with opens and bounces), and sender domain setup (send from your own domain, with guided configuration checks). It also enforces compliance automatically, adding required postal addresses to footers, one-click unsubscribes, and pausing a campaign if spam complaints spike. A REST API is available for developers to send transactional email programmatically, and pricing is split into a Sending plan ($18/month for 50,000 emails) and a Marketing plan ($36/month for 5,000 contacts), sold separately so customers pay only for what they need.
