Serus
Serus helps individuals and businesses find, monitor and remove their exposed personal data
The Problem
People's personal data (emails, phone numbers, usernames, addresses) is scattered across data brokers, breach dumps, paste sites and public profiles, creating exposure to scams, doxxing, fraud and identity theft. At the same time, individuals and businesses regularly need to verify who they are dealing with: a landlord, a seller, a vendor, a job offer, a crypto wallet, a contractor, or a new hire. Today this verification work is done manually and piecemeal across many sites and tools, and most people have no visibility into what data about them is already public or listed by data brokers. Removing that exposed data typically requires navigating dozens of separate opt-out processes site by site.
The Solution
Serus is a privacy and intelligence platform with two linked products: Protection, which finds, monitors and removes a person's exposed data (including automated data-broker opt-outs described as 'Data Removal on Autopilot'), and Intelligence, an agentic and AI-powered OSINT tool for searching public records, social profiles, breach data and the dark web. Users can search by email, phone, username, wallet address or domain, and the product supports a long list of specific use cases such as verifying a seller, tracing a crypto scam, vetting a vendor, monitoring leaked credentials, mapping lookalike domains, and building a timeline of public activity for an identity. The company also offers a developer API to integrate Serus searches elsewhere, and lists a 'Serus MCP' toolkit for AI agents as coming soon. A free tier offers limited daily dark web AI lookups and credits, with messaging that data is never sold or used for training.
