The Problem

Knowledge workers juggle Gmail, Calendar, Slack, Notion, docs and meetings, and often have to re-explain the same context (what's launching, what was decided, what's left to do) to coworkers or to AI tools that start from zero each time. Important details like a decision made in a meeting, a checklist item, or a screen seen earlier in the day get lost across apps and are hard to retrieve later. Without a shared memory of a person's actual work, every question or draft requires manually hunting through email threads, calendars, and chat history, or re-explaining background to an AI assistant that has no prior context.

The Solution

ShogunAI is a Mac assistant that builds a private, on-device memory from a user's mail, meetings, documents and chats so that questions and drafts can be answered using everything the user already knows. It can draft email replies in the user's voice (e.g. a Gmail reply pulled from a launch checklist and calendar), continue sentences anywhere by holding the right Option key, take meeting notes live and produce a recap with action items right after a call ends, and offer visual recall so users can search or scrub back through what was on their screen earlier in the day. It also surfaces a daily view of schedule changes, pending items, and drafts it has already prepared, and it shows where each answer came from. The product is described as working alongside existing tools such as Gmail, Notion, Calendar, Slack, GitHub, Figma, and others, and data is said to stay on the user's PC.
