The Problem
Frontline shops like manufacturing floors run on tribal knowledge held in veteran workers' heads, not written documentation. When those workers retire, their know-how about fixes, equipment quirks, and procedures leaves with them. Workers today have no easy way to surface this knowledge or get quick answers without apps, logins, or complex tools that frontline staff often can't or won't use. This leaves managers answering repeat questions and shops with no searchable record of what worked before, who did it, or when.
The Solution
Sidekick is an AI agent workers text through iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, or KakaoTalk, requiring no app install, login, or new system to learn. It answers questions from a company's own documents, flags drifting equipment, opens and routes work orders, and escalates issues to the right manager. Every interaction is logged into a searchable company knowledge base that cites its source, whether a document page and revision or a supervisor's confirmation. From this captured knowledge, Sidekick also drafts documents like safety procedures, employee handbooks, and FAQs, translates them for crews, generates training modules tied to procedures, and can trigger purchase orders based on inventory reorder points. The company also states that knowledge learned at one site (for example a fault fix in Ohio) can apply to other sites running Sidekick (such as Texas), so multi-site operators compound knowledge across locations.
