SKLÜT
SKLÜT offers facial recognition biometric access, letting people enroll once and enter any enabled building, office
The Problem
People today juggle 12 or more separate credentials (badges, keys, fobs) that do not work across different buildings or events. This creates long waits: 5 to 10 minutes at access points and up to 60 minutes in badge lines at events. Building operators also face high costs, cited at $200K per year for access management. There is no single, portable identity that works everywhere a person needs to go.
The Solution
SKLÜT lets a user enroll their face once at any SKLÜT kiosk in about 60 seconds, with no paperwork required. After enrollment, the person can walk up to any SKLÜT-enabled entrance and be recognized and let in without a badge, key, or phone, with access reportedly taking about 10 seconds. Through a companion app, users can control exactly what access they share, with whom, and for how long, and can revoke access instantly if they change their mind or leave a building. The system logs every access action for accountability.
