Luke is a macOS app that talks through a feature with you, reads your codebase
The Problem
Developers using AI coding agents like Claude Code or Codex often need to plan out a feature before handing it to the agent, which means manually reviewing the relevant code and writing up a clear spec or plan themselves. Doing this well requires understanding how the existing code works and translating a verbal or half formed idea into a structured plan the agent can execute against. This is a manual, time consuming step that sits between having an idea and getting an agent to act on it correctly.
The Solution
Luke is a macOS desktop app where a developer talks through a feature they want to build. While they talk, Luke reads the relevant code in the project, and produces a written plan that can be pasted directly into Claude Code or Codex to carry out the work. It is distributed as a downloadable macOS app for Apple silicon on macOS 14 and later, and the code is available on GitHub under an Apache-2.0 license.
